Worcestershire Psychologist – Dr Sophie Newman
Help when you need it in Worcestershire, West Midlands & Birmingham
Due to the risks posed by Covid-19, clients are currently being supported by remote sessions (including Zoom). Face to face sessions will resume once it is safe to do so (in line with public health and professional organisations’ guidelines).
Welcome to my Worcestershire Psychologist website. I am Dr Sophie Newman and I am here to help you. With over 16 years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist, I have helped many people overcome struggles with their mental health.
Life can be challenging at times and sometimes relying on support from family and friends may not be enough. If you live in Worcestershire or the West Midlands and are finding it difficult to cope, you may find it helpful to talk to a professional. I regularly work with clients to tackle difficulties including depression, anxiety disorders such as panic, phobias and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma (including childhood sexual abuse), low self-esteem, bereavement and anger.
You will find I am approachable, warm and caring. If you are struggling with symptoms such as depression or anxiety, you will want to access psychological therapy without delay. One in four people in the UK is likely to experience a mental health problem each year. Working in independent practice means I am able to offer help, support and therapy without a long wait, allowing you to start the process of recovery now. Please do not suffer alone, get in touch today.
I am an integrative therapist, meaning I draw on a number of approaches in order to tailor therapy specifically to your needs. I am also available at three convenient locations in Worcestershire and The West Midlands.
